"Yes, It is Happening in Chattanooga:

How to Recognize and Respond to the Signs of Sex Trafficking"

In the first of a series of three events shining a light on women and issues in our community, the Women's Fund of Greater Chattanooga invites you to join us on Thursday, May 24 at its Spotlight Speaker Series. Our speakers will be Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Special Agent in Charge Margie Quin and Janice Barrocas, policy change consultant to "A Future. Not a Past," a program aimed at stopping the prostitution of children in Georgia.

Come hear from two experts who have been working with sex trafficked girls as they educate us about the sex trafficking that is happening today in our community. They will share with us (i) how to recognize the signs of trafficking and (ii) effective ways in which we can respond both as concerned citizens and as individual advocates for policy change. Read more about the speakers in their bios below.

This event is open to the public, but please RSVP by clicking on the link below. Light refreshments will be served.
