Spotlight Speaker Series

“Yes, It is Happening Here in Chattanooga: How to Recognize and Respond to the Signs of Sex Trafficking”

May 24, 2012

The Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga began their Spotlight Speaker Series with the event “Yes, It is Happening Here in Chattanooga: How to Recognize and Respond to the Signs of Sex Trafficking”. Our speakers were Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Special Agent in Charge Margie Quin and Janice Barrocas, policy change consultant to "A Future. Not a Past," a program aimed at stopping the prostitution of children in Georgia. The event focused on educating the community on (i) how to recognize the signs of trafficking and (ii) effective ways in which we can respond both as concerned citizens and as individual advocates for policy change.

We would like to thank everyone who made our inaugural Spotlight Speaker Series a success.
